Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA

Dr. Sahrmann received her BS in Physical Therapy, AM and PhD in Neurobiology from Washington University School of Medicine - St. Louis. She was a faculty member in Neurology and Physical Therapy from 1973 until her retirement in 2013. Her research interests were in disordered motor control associated with the upper motor neuron syndromes and in the development of classifications for movement-related musculoskeletal pain syndromes and in the conservative management of thee syndromes. She was also active in patient care until her retirement. She has published two books on movement impairment syndromes.
